Color Wheel 1

For this project i used my own images but the stencil i got online. I made many layers and then used the  stencil and cut out part of my own images. I used a surfer, beach bucket and spade, Patrick the starfish from Spongebob and a palm tree as stencils. I enjoyed making this project because it made a lot of sense to me and it was fun to create. I put borders on some of the stencils. For the back ground i used the gradient tool and the color was blue and yellow which i did not like so i used photo filter on the background.

The 49 States

Matthew Jensen  (American, born 1980)

This image is from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I liked this project cause is doesn't seem like what the project is displaying, the 49 states. He also did't travel around America to take these images, he used Google street view and edited the images and displayed it on a plain white wall and all the images have land and road. These pictures also do not look like they are from different states. The images all look similar but very different. To me this is a really beautiful, fun and inspiring project that he changed and displayed it in his own way.

Batesville Day.

For this project i tried not to use too much color because it looks better when its printed onto a shirt or something they'll use for the day. I just took an imagine from the internet looking like what i thought Batesville would look like and i desaturated it, then used history brush to bring back the color in the barn. I then just put a test with the date and the name of the day.

Candice Grobler Alphabet

For this project we were asked to use our own skill to make our own creative font, i used matches and created each of the letters and photographed it.
I really enjoyed this project because it was simple but looks different. Each of the images have a different color back ground because of the lighting which changes it up a little.
I used a 8 by 14 dimension and had 6 images across and four going down, which gave me 28 places in the left over to i just filled it in with the wood from one of the images and put a heading or name for the project.
I decided not to put an effect on the images because i like the way the lighting is different.
I really enjoyed putting this project together.

Chair 1

For this project we took a picture of a chair and had to take out previous projects and pictures and do like a wallpaper model on the chair. When i got the model or orginal image it had a shadow so i selected the backround and deleted it and at the end i made my own shdow which was very interesting to see the way that the photoshop app did it, I like this project because the shadow looks realistic.
I If i could have done anything different i would have used a single color or pattern instead of having many different projects i feel it would look better.

Mid Term Project.

With this project we had certain tools that had to be used in order to get our credit, i like that when i used the puppet warp tool i was able to ad another image, the feris wheel, into the image. There are a lot of images that have had many different tools been worked with them, some more than others the back ground is a sunset that i used a harsh filter on. I used more than fourteen tools on this project and that is what makes it look very different look. I used a 7x5 inch grid to work out the one inch flower images. I enjoyed making this project but i prefer using less tools on certain images.

NAPP Tutorial.

I used the 2012 December Issue of Photoshop magazine and i also used the image that they provided in the tutorial.
This was a lot of fun and i learnt a couple of new things making this project.
I used the lyrics from one of my favorite songs Little Things by One Direction for the text.
